 STM32 L4+Series Cortex-M4 Ultra Low Power Microcontroller

 
ST expanded the STM32L4 product family and its performance. The latest STM32L4+series single-chip microcomputer in the STM32L4 product series, while maintaining the ultra-low power consumption characteristics, also provides superior performance (the highest frequency can reach 120 MHz), larger capacity built-in memory (up to 2 MB Flash memory and 640 KB SRAM), richer graphics processing capacity and connection characteristics.
 
The STM32L4+series has achieved higher performance features in the field of ultra-low power consumption. By executing on-chip FLASH instructions, the performance of 150 DMIPS/409 CoreMark can be achieved. Thanks to the built-in 640KB SRAM, low power consumption applications based on consumer, medical and industrial fields are like fish in water.
 
STM32L4+series MCU can adjust the voltage timely according to different application requirements during microprocessor operation to achieve dynamic balance of power consumption. This function is applicable to low-power peripherals (LP UART, LP timer) in STOP mode, security and confidentiality features, a large number of intelligent peripherals, and advanced low-power analog peripherals such as operational amplifiers, comparators, LCD, 12 bit DAC and 16 bit ADC (hardware oversampling).
 
The new STM32L4+series also has a built-in advanced graphics processing function, which facilitates the realization of a wonderful user graphical interface.
 
Chrom‐ART Accelerator ™ It is a 2D hardware graphics accelerator with ST patents, which is particularly efficient in handling repetitive graphics operations, greatly releasing the CPU load, facilitating efficient real-time processing and completing more advanced graphics operations.
 
Chrome ‐ ART accelerator and built-in large capacity built-in SRAM, Chrome ‐ GRC ™ The all-around video memory optimizer and the Octo SPI interface with high data throughput work closely together to greatly improve the performance of TFT and DSI controllers and bring the chip performance to an ideal level. Based on the STM32L4+single chip ultra-low power consumption scheme, the graphical user interface of "smart phone like" is realized.
 
The STM32L4+series includes different product lines: STM32L4P5/Q5, STM32L4R5/S5, STM32L4R7/S7 (with TFT interface) and STM32L4R9/S9 (with MIPI ‐ DSI and TFT interface).
 
In order to simplify the transplant operation between STM32 single-chip microcomputers and provide users with the required flexibility, STM32L4+MCU is pin compatible with different STM32 series, opening the door to the entire STM32 ecosystem.
